Not a car starter, not a phone cell
Car batteries deliver short cranking bursts. Phone batteries optimize for grams and milliamps. Home storage is about kilowatt-hours, cycle life, warranty, and installer code compliance—closer to our solar category than to car starter basics.
Energy vs power
kWh is energy (how much fuel in the tank). kW is power (how fast you can deliver it). A battery might be advertised in usable kWh; the inverter limits how much power you can draw at once.
Lead-acid vs lithium (high level)
Lead-acid can still be cost-effective in some off-grid designs but often comes with DOD and maintenance tradeoffs.
